In October 2022, the second year film students were asked to create a 12-15 minute video about Hadrian for the Carlisle Fire Show 2022. I was brought in by one of my lecturers to oversee production from the universities’ side to make sure the video was delivered on time and of a high quality. I was in charge of a team of 15, and I assisted them with: Idea pitching / research / shoots / editing / feedback with client / filming the event on the day. I worked closely with all parties involved to ensure the video we would be distributing was to the correct standard. This was my first time as a producer for an event, which was seen by 40,000 people, and this was the first time I was able to use my skills as a producer in an external project.
